A higher standard with eternal consequence

Nowhere is the phrase, "If we aren't growing, we are dying" is more appropriate or relevant than the modern church.  The reality is the church of today is determined by the youngest amongst the congregation, and if that group leaves the moment they have the choice, there is no church growth.

Sadly, an environment has been created that suggests church in the modern world just isn't relevant anymore and therefore can be ignored.  We know that is not true, but has your church adapted to the needs of the people it seeks to serve?

Tradition is great.  Tradition for the sake of tradition is lethal.  If phrases like, "we do it this way because that's the way we've always done it" is heard more often then, "let's try something new" perhaps its time to seek outside help.

Change can be hard, change can be scary, but change can institute life affirming results that affect the trajectory of future generations.  What your church does matters - it has consequence in the here and now, it has consequence when time ceases to exist and we enter eternity.

Is your church ready to engage in a course correction that will make it more relevant to the community it seeks to serve?

Ask yourself these questions...

  • Does your church value tradition over change?
  • Does your church seek to serve community or tradition?
  • Does your church actively seek out new ways to engage the hearts and minds of todays generation?
